Gluten and Dairy free snacks found at Walmart.

Here are the snacks I have found at Walmart. Let me know if you know that any of the things I post have gluten or dairy in them. I am really good about reading labels but I'm not perfect. Also if you have discovered something that is not on this list please let me know.

White House Apple Butter I haven't tried this but I'm going to. Maybe it would be good on crackers or a rice cake.

Jello any brand I would use sugar free. Limiting sugar as much as possible helps a lot.

Kellogs Crispx

Apple Chips Ethan did not like these very much.

Corn Chex

Rice Chex

Honey Nut Chex

Trix lots of sugar here use sparingly

Reeses Puffs Lots of sugar. If I was smart I wouldn't have bought these in the 1st place. Ethan llllllllloves this stuff!

Kix Cereal a year ago I checked these and they had oats in them. I checked again last week and now they don't. This is why you have to check the label every time.

Mission Chicharones (pork rinds) Ethan kind of likes these. He eats a few and then hes done for a few months.

Apple Sauce and fruit cups they are for the most part safe check the lable

Vitner's Baked Corn Pops these are like cheetos without the cheese Ethan likes them not something I buy very often though.

Toastadas probably any brand When I 1st started Ethan on the diet this was his PBJ sandwitch. I spread 2-3 of them with Peanut butter and honey and he loved it.

Nature Valley Roasted Nut Crunch Ethan doesn't care for these that much.

Corn Chips Most brands are good. I like brands that have an ingredient list with corn, salt, and oil. I'm not a fan of ingredient list that go forever. The less ingredients the better.

Lay's Classic Potato Chips Ethan love these. You could probably find other brands too.

Corn Nuts Original Another winner with Ethan. Hard to find sometimes though. When I do find them they are by a cash register. I can always find them at all of the other grocery stores in my town.

Cracker Jacks Ethan loves these I keep them in the glove box and sometimes I sneak them into the movie theater.

Fritos Original Ethan loves these!

Fruit snacks I have yet to find a fruit snack that Ethan can't have. They all seem to be good you never know though.

True North Pecan Almond Peanut Clusters I love these and so does Ethan he calls them candy bars.

Orville Redenbacher Natural salt and lime this is pretty good but the simply salted picture below is the best popcorn you've ever tasted.

Orville Redenbacher Natural Simply salted I will never go back to buttered popcorn again. This is so good. I sneak this into the movie theater or I pop some before we go and have my kids eat a bag or too and then they don't want any snacks when we get there.

Rice Krispies make some Rice Krispie treats using oil instead of butter they turn out the exact same.

Corn Chex Sometimes I take all of the cereals I have and mix them together along with some dates and chopped nuts and use the rice Krispie treat recipe to make a cool treat.

Quaker Rice Cakes Lightly Salted we prefer the carmel ones. The best are apple cinnamon but I have to shop at another grocery store to find those.

Quaker Rice Cakes Carmel I make open face pb& banana sandwiches with these.

Jam, Jelly, Preserves, Most brands are great. Find the most natural and or organic you can afford. Avoid cross contamination by buying a different brand for everyone using bread with gluten in it. Same goes for mayo, and Peanut butter or anything that you dip out off onto bread. Toasters and waffle irons are also places where you can find cross contamination. I use the toaster oven with a new piece of foil.

Adams 100% Natural Peanut butter buy a different brand for the rest of the family or label your jars to prevent cross contamination.

Snow Crisps found this on the Walmart site. Haven't tried it but I'm planning on it.

Envirokidz organic Crispie Rice these products say that they may contain dairy products so I don't buy them but suit yourself.

Sesmark Sesame & Rice Savory thins crackers these are okay

Shelly Senbei Japanese style rice crackers Haven't tried these yet but I want too.

Fruitables fruit & vegetable juice want to try these they aren't avaliable at my Walmart so I will have to call and have them order it for me or go to another local grocery store.

Honey any brand make sure it is pure honey.

Mustard any brand

Mayonnaise any brand I like to get an olive based or canola based one.

Ketchup any brand. I recommend getting organic. I really recommend getting organic tomatoes blending them up and seasoning them with salt, garlic powder and any other spices you'd like.

Clif Kid Organic Twisted fruit my most highly recommended candy or fruit snack available at Walmart. They can be hard to find so if you do see them there stock up. If you don't see them there on to the Walmart website find the item # call your Walmart and have them order them for you. Amazon.com is another great place to find this stuff and you can get free shipping but that is for another post.

Dessert and candy found at Walmart

Just Because your kid is on a diet doesn't mean they have to miss out. I keep candy and snacks in the glove box in my car. I always have a few Starbursts shoved somewhere in my wallet. If we happen to go somewhere and I have nothing I promise him something awesome for later and he is okay. He is very good about it. (Just be prepared so this doesn't happen often.) At school or at church if he gets a treat and he knows he can't have it he brings it to me and we trade it for something he can have. For Birthday Parties or special occasions I bake a tray of cupcakes frost them and sprinkle them with sprinkles and freeze them so that I can have one for him at a moments notice. He takes his own cake & ice cream to birthday parties. There are a lot of candies they can have on the candy isle way too many for me to blog about not chocolate but a lot of other things are good. Check lables.

Cracker Jacks these are by the microwave popcorn. I always keep a package of these in the glove box in my car.

Pamela's Chunky Chocolate Chip Cookies I give a box of these to Ethan's Kindergarten teacher every now and then for when there is a special occasion like a birthday so that he can have something good.

Philly Swirl Swirl Stix

My-T-Fine pudding and Pie filling Not completely sure if this is dairy free I looked this up online at Walmart.com I read the ingredients and there was no dairy. Use rice milk or soy milk to make this. Also avaliable in chocolate. Check the lable!

Jello any brand I'm pretty sure is gluten and dairy free. You might consider getting sugar free. It is a good idea to limit sugar as much as possible.

El Mexicano Flan I have not tried this. Always check the label sometimes ingredients change. If it calls for milk use rice milk or soy milk. Tapioca pudding that comes dry in the box is GFCF too.

Skittles taste the rainbow hehehe. Another great thing to keep in the glove box as an emergency dessert.

Sweedish fish sour patch kids also

Jolly Ranchers any flavor suckers anything they sell

Starburst original, jellybeans, Probably any form that they sell

Betty Crocker Gluten free Brownie Mix: Use shortening instead of butter (butter contains whey which is dairy.) You can also use vegetable oil but they turn out better if you use shortening. I haven't tried apple sauce but you can if you want.

Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie mix: use shortening or oil instead of butter. Shortening is better.

Betty Crocker Gluten Free Cake Mix: Use shortening instead of butter. Taste your batter it might need more sugar. This is a good mix nobody could tell it was gluten free.

Betty Crocker Gluten Devils Food Cake mix: Use shortening instead of butter. I haven't seen this mix at my Walmart but it is at every other grocery store in my town.

Betty Crocker Rich & Creamy Vanilla
Frosting: a lot of the Walmart frostings are
gluten & Dairy free even chocolate ones be
sure to check the lables or make your own
butter cream frosting using shortening instead
of butter

Fruit chillers Popsicles: these are kind of
like apple sauce. They are also found on the
apple sauce isle they don't come frozen you
freeze them when you get home. They kind
of look like gogart and they make Ethan feel
like he has something special.

So Delicious Dairy free ice cream chocolate or vanilla: This is good stuff! It can be kind of hard to find at least at my Walmart because it is in a different place on the ice cream isle every time I buy it. Happy hunting!

Philly Swirls: These are really cool! The spoon is a sucker these are as cool as any ice cream novelty I've ever seen. My kid is on a diet but I refuse to let him miss out!

Marshmallows: these are great plain or make rice krispie treats but use the same amount of Canola oil instead of butter. It tastes the exact same. You can also make marshmallow fondant.

This is a list of what you can buy ready made I'll put some simple recipes on at some point that will expand the dessert category. Let me know if you have a special request of a dessert that you want to create I'll try to help you.
